Hi, I'm Vivin Agista.

Agysta is the name behind my work.

I started loving video editing because of the moments that are hard to capture exactly the way they felt, so I use footage, music, words, sound and timing to bring that feeling back.

I don't want to change what was there. I want to help the footage tell the story I saw.

I work in both English and Indonesian, including vlogs and story driven videos where understanding the context matters.

The client didn't come with a brief. They sent over the raw footage and left the concept, structure and edit entirely in my hands.

Exhibit B — The Challenge
  1. None of the footage was shot with a cinematic eye
  2. Ratios were a mix of landscape and portrait
  3. Almost entirely selfie shots, very little else
  4. Barely any B-roll to fill the gaps
  5. Several clips were shaky and unstable
  6. The vlog was spoken entirely in Filipino, a language I don't understand
  7. Shots showing the location or the client's full presence lasted only 1–4 seconds
  8. A number of clips were underexposed and dark
  9. About 45 minutes of raw footage to work through
Exhibit C — The Fix
  1. Reframed toward the most visually interesting angle, plus speed ramps, transitions, motion graphics and color grading for a cinematic feel
  2. Landscape clips fit into a 3-grid layout, others styled like polaroid cutouts, so everything still played 9:16
  3. Maximized every non-selfie clip through framing and pacing so it could carry more weight
  4. Spread the limited footage across more scenes than it originally covered
  5. Smoothed shaky clips in the edit, or turned them into a stylistic slow-motion speed ramp
  6. Built the story order from file names, sent an early rough cut, revised against the client's notes and a transcript
  7. Used framing, speed ramps and music to turn short static shots into something more alive
  8. Corrected brightness and color grading to bring the mood back into darker clips
  9. Watched all 45 minutes first, then kept only the scenes actually needed
Case Closed Exhibit D — The Result

What started as 45 minutes of shaky, mismatched, language-barrier footage turned into one of the client's best-performing uploads in recent memory. Views climbed well past their usual range, and likes and shares followed the same trend, both landing well above what other recent posts had reached.

Before We Start...

I mainly edit travel videos, vlogs, lifestyle content and short form content for lifestyle brands.

I work in both English and Indonesian. For vlogs and story driven content, being able to understand the language helps me follow the conversation, understand the context and put the story together naturally.

Your raw footage, a little information about the project and any references you have in mind. If you have a specific mood, story or feeling in mind, feel free to share that too.

I primarily use CapCut Pro, optimized for a high-end short-form workflow. But more than the tool, my focus is on how the video feels: crafting the right pacing, sound design, color adjustments, and typography so the footage hits just right.

My usual turnaround time is 2 to 4 days, depending on the length and complexity of the project. I will confirm the expected delivery time before starting the edit.

Up to 2 rounds of minor revisions are included. Minor revisions can include small changes to timing, text, clips or other details. Changes to the overall concept, music choice or direction of the edit are considered a new edit request and may require additional discussion.

Absolutely. References help me understand the mood, pacing and direction you're looking for.

Yes. If you already have a visual style, I can use it as a guide while keeping the edit natural to your content.

You send me the footage and direction. I work on the first edit, you review it, and we make any needed adjustments before final delivery.

Yes. I work remotely and can collaborate with clients from anywhere.
